In our Teens Drama classes the student will develop and improve their Communication and Theatre Skills through drama. The students learn to express themselves, think creatively and develop their vocal skills. Our classes are fun and relaxed. Teens develop these skills through Creative Drama, Performance and Public Speaking. In the first term students are encouraged to partake in the Speech and Drama Exams.
Our teens also have the option to complete the Effective Communication Exams which are focused on structuring and delivering presentations, Public Speaking and Reading aloud skills.
Students are also encouraged to partake in Speech and Drama Teachers of Ireland Drama Festival and Feis Maitiu in the Second Term. There are a range of competitions for both drama and public speaking. Please note this is optional.
I did Mary’s Drama Classes for 10 years I really think it helped my confidence in public speaking and I find it easier to stand up in front of people. I believe Speech and Drama is an activity every child should be involved in. I did my Junior Cert CBA on How Drama helped me in all the different aspects of my life. A huge thank you to Mary.

I attended DramaWorks for 8 years and completed all my Speech and Drama Grade Exams up to Grade 10 and completed my Certificate in Effective Communication.
